Kahrs helped me out after another supplier had to cancel the delivery of the decking boards I had ordered at short notice due to the Russian embargo. I am very satisfied with everything: from the ordering process in the online shop to the communication about the current status of the order to the delivery by 40-ton truck. The decking boards made of Siberian larch lie very straight and are dimensionally accurate throughout. So far I have laid around half of the boards and there hasn't been a damaged or unusable board yet. I will probably be able to build something else beautiful from the approximately 15% surplus that I ordered.

We bought in 2022 and 2023 for around €15,000. The delivery the first time was a little delayed but the wood arrived. The second delivery was without any problems. The third “delivery” did not take place at all. We canceled after we were repeatedly told off that the delivery would be delayed due to a supplier problem. We wrote to our clerk, Mr. M….graf, the communication with him was always to our satisfaction and even when we wanted to cancel, they were understanding and understanding that delivery could not be made almost 4 weeks beyond the agreed delivery date. So we agreed that we could cancel free of charge. An hour later we got a call from another clerk, Mr. M…keller, and we were told we couldn't cancel for free. We should pay €500 for restocking. However, the gentleman could not be reached by phone. We called several times and asked to speak to him. There was no call back and no personal response to our emails. Colleagues in the office also apologized for their superior's behavior and apologized again. After we persisted, we were able to reach Mr. M…Keller by phone. We asked for a statement and an apology, all we heard was that we were on short-time work and they have to understand that. Unfortunately there was no insight. We founded our company in 2022 and became self-employed due to Corona and war and dared to do so. We just wanted to get the money we had already paid back to the Kahrs company. But we haven't received this yet either. A big financial problem for us! It's a shame that the company has forgotten that it was founded in 2008 with a one-man business and now only responds to reviews with standardized answers. Sometimes it would just be human to admit that you have made a mistake. We have now referred the matter to our lawyer, which is causing us additional costs. A pity !
